A portion of the funds raised by the Units will be designated back to them to support their programmes and activities for youth development. Apart from youth development activities, many of these units usually opt to use these funds to enable Scouts with financial difficulties to be part of the programmes, which otherwise may not be accessible to them.
The remainder of the funds raised is used to ensure the smooth running of the Association, such as, programme development, training of volunteers, maintenance of facilities and remuneration for our staff members.
Under this initiative, Donors can nominate for our Scouts to carry out community service with any one of our Charitable Organisation partners rendering their service and efforts to help our community.
Please note that the funds raised from Scouting It Forward goes to the Scout Units and the Singapore Scout Association. Funds will not go to any of our Charitable Organisation partners. Funds raised will be fully allocated to Scout Units for the planning and preparation of next year's Scouting activities and for the Association’s operations.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the usual Job Week and Donation Draw fundraising events are cancelled for 2020. Thus, Scouting It Forward is the only fundraiser that we are organising this year. As an ‘upgraded’ version of Job Week, Donors can now opt to pay it forward by requesting for our Scouts to help out at one of our Charitable Organisation Partner instead of the usual personal errands.

All donations S$50 and above are eligible for tax deduction. You will be requested to input your NRIC and we will submit all tax deduction request to IRAS.
This is to ensure the Scout Unit that you have nominated has the capacity to accept your request and fulfill the nominated task. Upon acceptance by the Scout Unit, you will be notified via email to complete the donation.
